News & Blog

The National Executive Management Team in Ghana organized a Volunteers Training Seminar at Humility Lodge, Swedru on April 6, 2019. The Country Vice President, Ms Rita Arhinful opened the session with a welcome address. The seminar inducted 11 new volunteers after an orientation by Mr Gilbert Addo and Mr Nuelz Ehun.

As regulated by the IMDID constitution, any individual who wants to be a member of the organization would have to undergo an orientation program and induction to serve as a volunteer for six months before affirmation to membership after an evaluation. Induction to volunteering is done at the national level while affirmation to membership is done at the international level at a Global Youth Diplomacy Conference.

The Networking Manager, Mr Joseph Gyansah and Conference Director, Ms Patricia Tinkorang shared their volunteering experience, urging new volunteers to work committedly towards humanity with love and compassion.

A training session was facilitated by Mr Richard Kuntuo Asare who’s also a team member from the international office and a communications expert on the subject; Resource Management: People, Time, Money. The Conference Director also led the participants at the seminar to learn the new IMDID Paean, Solidarity Forever!
